The SOLAP Enterprise Hub is designed to transform young entrepreneurs into wealth creators, job providers, and community change-makers. Running annually for the next ten years, the program is committed to identifying and supporting grassroots entrepreneurs, regardless of formal education, with the tools, mentorship, networks, and funding they need to build sustainable and scalable businesses.
Raising 100 millionaires in 10 years
At the heart of the initiative is a bold mission: to raise at least 100 millionaires within a decade through a combination of practical business training, strategic mentoring, market exposure, and access to capital. We believe that wealth creation at the grassroots level is the fastest route to tackling unemployment, reducing poverty, and igniting inclusive economic growth in Nigeria and beyond.
Business launchpad and incubation space
The SOLAP Enterprise Hub will operate as a business launchpad and incubation space for entrepreneurs across diverse industries, from tech startups and creative enterprises to manufacturing, services, and social impact ventures, making it a catalytic force for long-term prosperity.

The SOLAP Enterprise Hub is a decade-long initiative designed to run annually, nurturing new sets of entrepreneurs each year.
Program Duration
An intensive 4 to 6-week incubation and mentorship program, designed to equip participants with the skills, networks, and resources necessary to build, validate, and scale their enterprises.
Target Audience
Young entrepreneurs and innovators aged 18-35, from diverse sectors and backgrounds, including those without formal education but with viable business ideas or early-stage ventures.

Application & Selection Criteria
Open to all young entrepreneurs with a viable business idea or early-stage venture, regardless of field or sector.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
- Demonstrated passion, commitment, and potential for impact and scalability.
- Ability to participate fully in all program activities for the entire 6-week duration.
Selection Process
- Application Submission: Entrepreneurs submit a detailed application including their business idea, problem addressed, and impact potential.
- Screening & Shortlisting: Applications reviewed by a panel based on innovation, feasibility, social/economic impact, and entrepreneur readiness.
- Final Selection & Onboarding: Selected entrepreneurs join the program and are paired with mentors.
- Pitching & Interview Stage: Shortlisted candidates present their ideas before a panel of judges including SOLAP Group leaders, industry experts, and investors.
Program Milestones
- Week 1-2: Orientation, foundational training, and goal setting, Intensive workshops, mentorship sessions, and business model refinement
- Week 3-5: Pitch preparation and funding opportunities
- Week 6: Final pitching event and graduation at the 10 years anniversary of SOLAP GROUP

- Ability to address a real community or market need.
- Clear, measurable social or economic outcomes.
Scalability
- Potential for business growth beyond the incubation period.

Entrepreneur Readiness
- Demonstrated commitment and resilience.
- Capacity to implement the business plan effectively.
Marketing & Sales Practicality
- Realistic go-to-market strategy and ability to reach target customers.
- Evidence of demand or market interest.
Knowledge of the Business or Sector
- Understanding of the industry, competitors, and operational requirements.
- Ability to navigate sector-specific challenges.
Post-Program Support
- Continued mentorship through the SOLAP Enterprise Hub alumni network

The SOLAP Enterprise Hub is a six-week annual youth entrepreneurship and incubation program by SOLAP Group, implemented in partnership with The Val Okafor Company. It is designed to empower young entrepreneurs with training, mentorship, and funding to start, grow, and scale sustainable businesses.
The program is open to all young Nigerians who:
- Possess at least a Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
- Have a viable business idea or early-stage venture.
Not necessarily. You can apply if you have either:
- A strong business idea that can be developed and validated during the program, or
- An early-stage venture/startup looking to scale.
The program runs for six weeks, with training sessions held once a week (2 hours each), complemented by mentorship, networking, and business incubation support.
